Why Fort Myers Is Different

Septic Work In Fort Myers

Fort Myers is split. A good share of the city is on central sewer, but there are established neighborhoods and unincorporated pockets all through the area still running on septic, and plenty of those systems are as old as the houses sitting over them.

Older Fort Myers lots come with their own complications. Mature oaks and palms send roots straight into drainfield lines, setbacks are tighter, driveways and additions get built over the tank, and access is something a full-size truck has to plan around. We would rather work that out with you on the phone than discover it in your driveway.

What We See Here
  • Older neighborhoods with mature trees and root intrusion
  • Tight lots, and tanks buried or built over years ago
  • Sewer hook-ups and abandonments where the line is available

Fort Myers Septic Questions

Nobody knows where my tank is. Can you find it?

Usually, yes. Locating and uncovering the tank is part of the visit. Once it is open we mark it, so the next service call is simple instead of an excavation.

Sewer is available on my street. Should I connect?

If the line is already there and your system is aging, connecting is often the better long-term move. We do the hook-up and the tank abandonment together, both permitted.

Can your truck get to my backyard?

Tell us about gate width, slope and anything overhead when you call. We run long hose and we plan access ahead of time rather than showing up and finding out.
