Why Lehigh Acres Is Different

Septic Service Across Lehigh Acres

Lehigh Acres is one of the largest septic communities in Florida. Most of the grid has never had central sewer, so effectively every house out here is on its own tank and drainfield, and every new house needs a new system in the ground before anyone moves in.

That means we run two kinds of days in Lehigh. One is service work on quarter-acre lots where a system installed decades ago is finally telling somebody about it. The other is new construction, where we set the tank and field for a builder or an owner-builder and get it through inspection, so the certificate of occupancy is not sitting and waiting on us.

What We See Here
  • New construction installs, sized and permitted for the lot
  • Service and repair on aging quarter-acre-lot systems
  • The area we are in most often, most weeks of the year

Lehigh Acres Septic Questions

I am building in Lehigh Acres. When do you need to be on site?

Early. The system has to be permitted and installed on the builder's schedule, and inspection timing affects your CO. Call while you are still in permitting, not after the slab is poured.

How long does a new septic install take?

The install itself is typically a day or two on a normal residential lot. Permitting and inspection scheduling is what actually sets the calendar, and that is the part we manage for you.

My tank has never been pumped. How bad is that?

It is common out here and it is not automatically a disaster. Solids build up and eventually push into the drainfield, which is the expensive part. Pumping and inspecting now is what keeps this a pumping bill instead of a drainfield bill.
